Owens strongly opposed receiving COVID vaccination, and then shared her email correspondence with Lee with her 2.9 million followers.
In her email, Lee explained her refusal to serve Owens and said it was because she “politicized and actively discouraged people from receiving life-saving vaccinations.”
She then suggested that right-wing experts use the only other testing facility in the town, the free information kiosk in the city hall.

As promised-this is the email from the fanatical activist who refused to give me the test, and my response to her. She is obviously not stable enough to work healthily and poses a threat to the Aspen community. pic.twitter.com/nV7xMGqVN3

Lee said at the end of the email that she and her employees had “worked overtime, exhausted, unpaid and low pay” in the past year to ensure everyone’s safety. Therefore, it is “unfair” to serve Owens.
Owens shared her aversion to being denied service, and referred to Lee as an “avid radical”, “obviously not stable enough to work healthy, posing a threat to the Aspen community”.
However, many Twitter users disagreed with Owens’ point of view, and Lee was highly praised for his decision not to serve the experts who have long persuaded her followers not to be vaccinated.
Sports commentator Keith Alberman wrote on Twitter: “I believe that when another private company refuses to provide services to people they think are ***, this twerp @RealCandaceO said it was them Anyone who disagrees is a Nazi or a socialist or a villain-business.”
Although political commentator Brian Tyler Cohen said Lee’s email was “the best thing he has ever read.”

Just last week, Owens labeled the COVID vaccine as “purely evil” And said it would never enter her arm.
“I still have not been vaccinated against COVID-19, nor have any of my employees vaccinated. I am proud that I am committed to resolutely opposing bribery, media propaganda, coercion, celebrity peer pressure campaigns, and censorship. I do it for me and mine. The family made a personal decision,” Owens wrote in an article Facebook Post in August.
In the United States, anyone over the age of 12 is eligible for the vaccine, and nearly 62% of the population has been vaccinated at least once.
