“We know Kelly may not want to be found, but when we are worried about them, we can’t stop looking for her and Knox with conscience.
“We posted a photo of Kelly before. The photo shows that she has natural brown hair, but we believe she may have changed her appearance recently.
“She dyed her hair blonde before, so today we posted another photo she took a few years ago to show how she would look if she dyed her hair again.”
Ms. Windsor added: “Since Kelly and Knox may be anywhere, we ask the public to help share our appeal on social media because we know this will increase the likelihood of them being discovered.
“We also ask anyone who sees any of them to dial 999 immediately.”
Last month, a family court judge took unprecedented steps to hold public hearings to help find Ms. Jeffries and Ms. Knox.
Judge Stephen Wildblood QC stated that he did this out of genuine concern for Knox, to help Ms. Jefferies “recognize the seriousness of the matter” and encourage witnesses to come forward.
He explained that the social worker expressed concern about the boy’s welfare and that the South Gloucester County Council started the nursing process on July 2 this year.
The court was informed that several attempts to “contact” Ms. Jeffries were unsuccessful. The local authorities hoped to evaluate Knox based on his “family situation”.
