Eco-friendly sustainable new city under construction

Eco-friendly and sustainable cities may become a reality in the near future. The blueprint designed by Marc Lore, a former Wal-Mart executive and founder of Jet.com, may become the basis for a brand new “new city” in the United States.

The goal of the project is to “create a new city in the United States, set global standards for urban life, expand human potential, and become a blueprint for future generations.” website Say.

The billionaire worked with the construction company Bjarke Ingels Group to create an urban blueprint for the city called “Tlosa.” Telosa will focus on community, work, mobility and environment.

It will be clean, diverse, and provide useful services, including eco-friendly buildings such as plant-covered buildings, sustainable energy production, and drought-resistant water supply systems.

“Renewable resources will power cities, fresh water will be stored, cleaned and reused on site, and autonomous vehicles will create safe and flexible streetscapes. Provide citizens with honest and clear financial status. The environment is always the top priority, and so A place where citizens are informed and politicians are responsible.” website.

It also explained that “every student has access to the best teachers and resources, high-quality job training, personalized health care, diverse housing options for everyone, natural and public spaces to gather people together Together, people can easily assess the need for 15 minutes of commuting time, and residents will share ownership of the land.”

“As cities do better, residents do better”, in what they call egalitarian community concept.

There are plans to build a “city beacon”, an Equitism tower with a photovoltaic roof, water storage, and aerocultivation farm to produce energy that will be distributed throughout the city.

The city is planned to be built in the deserts of Nevada, Utah, Idaho, Arizona, Texas or Appalachia. It is expected that residents will be invited to move in by 2030.

Lore is now looking for funds to fund this new city, and he needs approximately US$400 billion to realize this vision.

“So far, cities built from the ground up are more like real estate projects,” Lohr said in a promotional video. “They didn’t start with people-centeredness. Because if you were people-centered, you immediately thought,’Well, what is the mission, what are the values?'”

“Telosa’s mission is to create a fairer and more sustainable future. That is our North Star.”
