“gentleman” police officer The person who was accused of pinching an abusive suspect around the ear has been eliminated assault.

The experienced police officer admitted that he “may not be very professional” because he referred to Mr. Miah as a female colleague of “b*tch”.
But he insisted that he was not attacked, he just raised his arm to resist Mr. Miah’s attack.
After being acquitted by District Judge Samuel Goozee, PC was released from the City of London District Court at the end of the two-day trial.
The incident occurred after the police stopped Mr. Miah’s car in Stoke Newington on November 10 last year.
When the driver was handcuffed and detained by PC Smellie on the side of the road, he made a series of abusive remarks to the police.
After the vehicle search is complete, PC Smellie tells the police officer to “turn off your camera.” His colleague insisted that this was a routine comment.
Then, the police officer walked around the corner to Kyverdale Road and talked to Mr. Miah, “asking him when he thought he could talk to such a police officer”.
“I was surprised when he lashed out at me with his left arm,” he said. “After blocking his swing, I turned around and left.”
Another police officer at the scene, PC Kirsty Thatcher, said that she had been accepting “annoying” comments from Mr. Miah.
She said that PC Smellie was “tired of the way he (Miah) has been treating me” and “want to talk to him and tell him what is right and what is wrong”.
“I think he will talk to him as a gentleman to discuss how he should talk to women and future women,” PC Thatcher added.
“PC Smellie respects women very much, does not demean or rude.”
Another police officer described seeing PC Smellie sending out a “clip on the ear”, but admitted that his view of the incident was partially vague, and another colleague of theirs said he witnessed Mr. Miah punching.
PC Smellie joined the police force in 1994 and served as a firearms trainer for colleagues and received awards from Scotland Yard and the Royal Humane Society.
Since Mr. Miah was arrested on Tuesday night and was questioned on Wednesday, his trial evidence was postponed.
PC Smellie denied and was acquitted of assault.
