Kaia Health increases face-to-face physical therapy through collaboration


As digital health companies add musculoskeletal care services to its platform, Kaia Health is looking to do something different by bringing care into patients’ homes. The company recently formed a partnership with Luna On-Demand Physical Therapy, allowing patients to schedule face-to-face appointments at home or at work.

Luna, based in Menlo Park, said it has more than 1,000 licensed physical therapists. Patients can schedule extended appointments and can continue to see the same physical therapist over time. Luna is enrolled in most major insurance plans, including Medicare, and the cost of self-financed visits is $125.
