Queen and The Alarm both performed at the Montreux Pop Music Festival in 1984 Switzerland While drinking in the bar of a nearby hotel, one of the Queen’s crew found Peters and he told him HG Want to see him.
Mr. Peters said: “Freddy is very humble and told me that he is a big fan of the alarm clock album.
“He asked me many questions about the recording. Then he gave me a card with his number written on it and told me to call him if he could help us in any way.”
In 1985, when The Alarm needed a piano, they arranged to buy Kawai from Queen for about £3,000. The road crew of the alert collected it from the home of Queen Drummer Roger Taylor.
After three years of touring with The Alarm, Peters acquired the ownership of the piano and stored it in his recording studio, a converted church in North Wales.
Speaking of his decision to sell the piano, Mr. Peters said: “Of course the piano has a magical power. I really want to give it to people who have received attention like us.
“This year marks the 40th anniversary of The Alarm. This is a good opportunity to refresh everything we do. Some of our equipment is out of date and we need to reclaim some space.”
The Alarm provided Queen with two nights of support at Wembley Stadium in The Magic Tour in 1986.
It was the last tour of Queens with Mercury and bassist John Deacon, and it is estimated that more than one million people participated in these 26 concerts.

Auctioneer Luke Hobbs said: “This is an incredible rock memorabilia and a wonderful musical instrument.
“With new technology, today’s electric pianos are only a small part of Kawai. We look forward to the interest of collectors and fans of Queen and The Alarm from all over the world.”
The Alarm was founded in Rhyll, North Wales in 1981, and released a series of hit songs in the 1980s, including “68 Guns” and “The Spirit of 76”. After disbanding in 1991, the band reorganized in 2004 and continued to perform.
