Literally, Kendall and Logan set off a craze

succession Season 3, episode 4 tells the story of the power (or lack of power) between the lovely rebel Kendall Roy (played by Jeremy Strong) and his almighty father Logan Roy (Brian Cox) after the suspense ending of episode 3. FBI Coming for the Roy family, raid Luxing Royko.

Episode 4 is titled “Lion on the Grass” and begins with Kendall claiming that he “showed” a surprise attack. For now, Shiv’s (Sarah Snook) harsh letter to the media about Kendall’s mental state seems to be counterproductive and has little effect on him, his self-esteem, and the power he possesses.

However, cousin Greg (Nicholas Braun) may also change his position. He is no longer the “egg Greg” in Kendall’s eyes. He is the newly redesigned “G”, who happens to be a pawn in an old game. Kendall insists on his loyalty and Logan tries to win it.

Surprisingly, Greg is actually the person with a lot of power here. Logan eventually took the responsibility of approaching Greg directly. If he is willing to stay with Waystar Royco, he will provide him with what he wants. Any transactions and money you want.

In the end, it looks like Greg will stand with Logan and get the position of director of park operations. With Greg becoming the new favorite, this makes Tom (played by Matthew McFadden) so upset that it seems that another panic room throwing a water bottle might appear. However, this time Greg found his voice and told Tom that he “does not want to fight like a chicken” (yes, really), causing Tom to rush out of the room.

Tom is currently living in absolute fear that he will actually be sent to prison after taking bold actions in episode 3, where he proposes to take responsibility for Waystar Royco’s crimes. He even earned the nickname “Terminal Tom”, he had “occupational cancer”, and his wife Schiff didn’t help him assure him that everything would be fine.

Drama succession At the beginning of episode 4, the big names of Kendall and Waystar Royco participated in the conference call, and the threat of investors withdrawing from the upcoming shareholder meeting was very high.

“Finger is on the big red button Ken,” Frank (Peter Friedman) warned before proposing to spiral Kendall.

Billionaire activist investor Josh Aaronson (played by the incredible Adrian Brody) holds a 4% stake in Waystar Royco, and he plans to exit and compete with long-term rival Stewie (Arian Moayed) and Sandy (Larry Pine) joined forces. To make his decision easier, he asked to meet Kendall and Logan in the same room, which must be the most embarrassing father-son reunion in history.

After the most unbearable forced hug between Logan and Kendall, Josh invited them to travel a long distance before having lunch at the beach. On the way, Josh advised Kendall to “be quiet” and let Ministry of Justice Do your job and investigate Waystar Royco instead of risking his reputation and the company’s future.

Kendall immediately took defensive measures, believing that Josh and his father are working together to stop him. Logan even added in a side note: “Son, how are you? Sometimes all these drugs you do make you paranoid”-this is the first sentence exchanged between them since the Kendall rebellion .

At lunch, Josh made it clear that he and other shareholders have power in all these areas, and asked Logan and Kendall to ensure that they will be able to put their differences aside to ensure that the company has a strong and successful future.

Logan even gave up the blockbuster that Kendall was expected to become his successor. He said: “He learned everything from me, maybe he is the best of them.” Kendall didn’t buy it, he was right. Yes, Logan admitted that this was just a cover for Josh’s sweet words.

Beautiful lunch places may have their advantages, but they also have their disadvantages because it becomes obvious at the last moment succession Episode 4. It was a long journey back to Josh’s home. Although Logan was old and frail, he was determined to go all the way.

On the way, Logan and Kendall exchanged a series of nasty insults, and eventually Kendall told his father that he would retire immediately and that he would be back now.

However, when Logan began to struggle to breathe as he walked back, Kendall’s people began to appear. With true Logan style and his stroke in season 1, Logan refused to admit that he was in trouble until it was too late. Logan tripped in the arms of Kendall and Josh and was forced to stop.

Kendall tried desperately to get Josh on their side, insisting that his father would be fine.

“Too much exposure. He will be fine. It’s just too much exposure. We are fine, listen, buddy. I think…” he pleaded, and Josh retorted, “I think maybe, why don’t you just now Think about your father.”

At the end of the episode, it was revealed that Logan was suffering from heat exhaustion, but coupled with the power struggle between Logan and Kendall, this was enough to make Josh determined. Roman (Kieran Carl Gold) quickly broke Kendall’s arrogance, and Josh claimed that Waystar Royco had “weak leadership” and was a “high-level split” company.

In the last scene of episode 4, someone saw Josh greet Swee from a private jet, suggesting that he was on the side of the enemy and let the star Royko move on.
