Students and faculty of the University of the Arts London (UAL) The “Climate Justice March” was held on Wednesday to emphasize the need for action on the climate crisis.
More than 300 students and faculty from six art and design colleges (including Central Saint Martins, London School of Fashion and Camberwell School of Art) gathered at the Chelsea Parade to support climate justice.
The parade is part of the UAL Crisis Carnival, which is a season of events held concurrently with the COP26 climate summit Glasgow.
The students creatively answered the question of “what will you bring”—bringing flags, banners and art installations to the demonstration.

The dress was made from a retired UNHCR (United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees) refugee tent that was once the residence of a displaced Syrian family in Za’atari refugee camp in Jordan. It was created in response to a conversation with climate scientists in the MET office in 2014.
In the past seven years, she wore this dress to different parts of the world-as part of the parade organized by UAL, she once again walked in London.
In other places, the event also displayed dynamic video works of students, faculty, staff, and alumni.
