Hong Kong blockchain unicorn start-up and game developer Animoca Brands announced a collaboration with South Korean record company Cube Entertainment to produce NFT and create “K-pop metaverse”.
Animoca Brands revealed plans to cooperate with Cube Entertainment to bring the K-pop group into the non-fungible token (NFT) field.
K-pop fans can look forward to a variety of images featuring artist portraits, album covers, and digital sound sources, including full-length albums. Yat Siu, the co-founder of Animoca Brands, said that he can’t wait to start working with Cube Entertainment to “make the open meta-universe a reality”.

This is not the first time the company has partnered with a Korean entertainment company to explore NFT spaceEarlier this month, BTS’ brand Hybe stated that it would cooperate with a large cryptocurrency exchange operator in South Korea to release NFT photo cards.
In addition, EXO and SM Entertainment, the agency behind Girls’ Generation, announced plans to join the NFT trend. As for the partnership between Cube Entertainment and Animoca Brands, it is not clear when fans can expect the release of their first NFT product.
