Obviously, Spears was not satisfied with Aguilera’s lack of response, and wrote in the clip: “I love and admire all those who support me… But when you know the truth, refusing to speak is tantamount to lying!!!”
“In a corrupt and abuse system for 13 years, why are people talking so hard??” she continued. “I am the one who has experienced it!! Thank you all the supporters who stood up and supported me… Yes, I am very important!”
According to media reports, when asked to comment, Aguilera’s publicist who appeared in the video did not immediately respond.
Although Aguilera did not comment on the supervision of Spears in her recent red carpet appearance, she had previously come out this summer to support her pop star Twitter.
“I have been thinking about Britney and her experience for the past few days,” Aguilera wrote in a statement in June, next to a vintage photo of her and Spears. “Any woman or human who wants to take control of her own destiny may not be allowed to live a life according to her own will. This is unacceptable.”
