Turkey Day is coming soon, and the long-awaited “Charlie Brown Thanksgiving” will be broadcast on TV and the Internet for those who want Peanuts to join their celebrations.
The Emmy Award-winning Thanksgiving special will be broadcast on PBS and PBS Kids at 7:30 PM EST on November 21st without ads. It will also be played on Apple TV+.
The holiday special feature features Charlie Brown and three friends trying to prepare a last-minute Thanksgiving dinner for their guests. When they fight in the kitchen, it is not sure whether they will become successful owners, because Charlie must also go to his grandmother’s house.
“We are very happy to work with our member radio stations to bring these classic holiday joys to families across the country,” PBS President and CEO Paula Kerger said in a statement last month.
“In these challenging times, public television remains a free and easily accessible source of comfort, inspiration and education for millions of Americans,” he added.
