The company is targeting energy, aerospace, heavy machinery and oil and gas global OEMs and is establishing its third most advanced lean factory manufacturing facility and global standards The Center of Excellence is located at Tunki Bollaram, Medchal Malkajgiri District, Telangana.
This morning, the company has laid the foundation stone on site and plans to invest more than Rs 5 billion in phases over the next 3 years, covering an area of 23.45 acres.
The facility will create a unique precision manufacturing ecosystem that will feature Uber-Smart, lean and modern workshops, adopt the most advanced manufacturing technology, and will showcase cutting-edge future technologies such as industrial artificial intelligence, robotics, Digitization, lean, etc. The company also plans to obtain the IGBC Gold Green Building Certification for the plant.
The first phase of construction of 30,000 square meters will be completed in July 2022.Therefore, the facility will be put into operation in the second quarter of fiscal year 2023, and will mainly manufacture and export ultra-critical components for global original equipment manufacturers in the aviation and power generation industries, such as GE, Mitsubishi, Siemens, Toshiba, MAN, Doosan Skoda, GE Aviation, Boeing, Honeywell, Eaton, Raphael, BHEL, HAL, Baker Hughes in.
In addition, the establishment of the factory will benefit the surrounding local communities and is expected to create employment opportunities for approximately 1,000 people.
