Turkish Aerospace Industry Corporation selects ITPS for training Provide test pilots and flight test engineers for its TF-X, Hurjet and heavy attack helicopter projects.
The International Test Pilot School has been selected by the Turkish Aerospace Industry Corporation (TAI) to train flight test teams for its new TF-X fighter, Hurjet advanced jet trainer and heavy attack helicopter programs. In addition to TAI students who have already taken the 2021B course, 10 graduate students will join the 2022A course in January. In the face of fierce international competition, the award of this contract has further consolidated ITPS’s position as a leading provider of flight test education.
When ITPS was awarded one of the largest flight test training contracts in the school’s history, TAI was the latest manufacturer to select ITPS for its fighter jet program. ITPS already has a Korean Aerospace Industry (KAI) team responsible for the KF-21 Boromae fighter and an Airbus defense team responsible for the future combat aircraft system.
