Suite life at Hotel de Crillon

New Years and cold days are the perfect time to enjoy a five-star hotel and enjoy luxurious facilities. This is exactly what we and my partner did, spent a few days in the suite life at Hotel de Crillon. Let me highlight the few experiences we enjoyed there and what you can do.

It seems that this COVID still has a lot to say to the world, and countries are returning to lockdown mode. In any case, France is still available for tourists, and even locals can benefit from various accommodation offers. My partner and I decided to spend a long weekend in the gorgeous suite of Hotel de Crillon The legendary Paris palace we have visited And love.

We have done a lot Luxury accommodation We live anywhere in the world. This is a concept that I support very much. It is another way to explore the city, even a few kilometers away from home. It can make you completely forget about daily work and eliminate stress.

Wonderful luxurious environment

As early as 2017, Rosewood Hotel Group achieved extraordinary achievements 4 years of renovation work. We can actually talk about “upgrades” and only mention the brand new indoor swimming pool they built in the basement and the complete design changes.

Lobby

Once you pass the entrance, you will arrive at an amazing lobby filled with many artworks-most of which are on sale. The interior design is very chic, based on precious wood, marble and “warm” stone. It makes the whole feel like being in a few happy places away from the crowd. perfect!

Sense, Redwood Spa

The Majestic Spa consists of a large indoor swimming pool paved with golden scales, a sauna and a Turkish bath, a fitness room and a treatment room. We did not enjoy any spa treatments this time, but we relaxed for a few hours by the pool. Thanks to COVID (!), we can privatize the sauna for 45 minutes, which is very convenient.

Premier Suite

I booked a superior suite for this stay. This is a 60-square-meter high-rise suite with a separate living room, two balconies, dressing room, bathroom and bedroom. We are celebrating a special occasion, so the hotel has prepared some delicacies and lovely decorations.

Premier Suite-Living Room

The view from the balcony overlooking the rooftops of Paris and the Eiffel Tower is breathtaking. I can’t imagine how tourists will react! I definitely recommend booking a room on a high floor there.

Balcony view

There are no “commercial” benefits of staying in a palace suite, which is the opposite of a chain hotel such as Hilton or Marriott, for example, you can use the executive lounge. Here, luxury is discreet, and service is tailor-made without the guests’ knowledge. This is why your room is always tidy up when you go out. It is also suitable for turn-down service, breakfast served in the living room, and careful care throughout your stay…not to mention the guarantee of early check-in and late check-out.

Amazing luxury experience nearby

Due to its ideal location in Paris, Hotel de Crillon allows you to enjoy a lot of cultural or luxurious attractions. We had the opportunity to have lunch at the Michelin-starred restaurant L’Oiseau Blanc near the Arc de Triomphe, and visited the recently renovated Ocean Hotel next to the palace.

Michelin star experience at L’Oiseau Blanc

L’Oiseau Blanc is a Michelin-starred restaurant of the Peninsula Paris, a palace hotel near the Arc de Triomphe. Located on the last floor, you can enjoy the magnificent view of Paris through curved glasses.

Truffle sea scallop

We had a 3-course lunch provided by chef David Bizet there. I chose sea scallops marinated with truffles as an appetizer (there were two appetizers before), the main course was codfish with caviar, and the dessert was Tahitian herbs and tobacco leaves. A real gourmet experience!

Visit Hotel de la Marine

Hôtel de la Marine is an iconic monument on Place de la Concorde, and it is also an exquisite complex of buildings built in the 18th century by the king’s chief architect Ange-Jacques Gabriel. It was the seat of Garde-Meuble de la Couronne until 1798, and was the headquarters of the French Admiralty for more than 200 years.

Hotel De La Marine

The visit lasts about 2 hours and is well worth it. Especially the main gallery-like a mini Versailles-and the outdoor promenade overlooking Place Vendôme. A real Paris experience!

Hotel De La Marine

Tickets 17 Euro/person. Admission is free on the first Sunday of each month.
