Lighting as a defining element: candles and candlesticks
According to Frost, candles are crucial to creating a wedding atmosphere. “I like to use a mix of taper and pillar candles to add height and dimension to tablescapes,” she says. ‘By 2025, colorful candles in soft pastels, warm terracottas and even deep jewel tones will perfectly complement tableware.’ Frost has been hosting 50 events at the high-profile Babington House since 2022 For many weddings, he often coordinates the tones of the candles with those of the plates, flowers and linens to create a harmonious look.
“Glass or ceramic candle holders can echo the design elements of the centerpiece, whether it's a simple vibe with a stylish candle holder or a more romantic feel with a gorgeous, vintage-inspired design,” she says. “The glow of candlelight ties everything together, creating an intimate and inviting atmosphere.”
