Instructor Nikki is an ERYT200 Yoga Instructor, AFAA Certified Personal Trainer, Mat Pilates Instructor and Betty Rocker Team Instructor!
This workout will add variety and challenge you with some new moves, while strengthening your cardiovascular system and improving your speed and agility.
The stronger your heart, the stronger your cardiovascular system and the better your overall body function (1) – make it an important part of your training regimen to prolong and improve your life.
Like any muscle, the more often the heart is exercised, the stronger and healthier it becomes. Format: Each action is performed for 0:45 seconds, repeated twice per round (change sides)
Round 1
- Jab-Cross-Duck
- Poke cross duck knee
- speed pack
- *Repeat on the right
- Bear crawling keeps punches and kicks in contrast to alternating
- ½ Burpee (plank to hands-free parka pleat)
second round
- side kick to side step
- Alternate back step to forward kick
- *Repeat on the right
- Plank x3 to side plank with alternating knee strikes
- Compression side panels
