Time to share another craft, this easy rag wreath craft I made a few years ago. I thought it was a good relaxation activity, so I share it with you again. It’s also great if you have any leftover fabric or some old clothes that are destined to go in the bin.
what do you need
Wire Wreath Frame
Fat Quarters/Clothes
middle decoration (optional)
First, I cut small scissors about 1 inch along one edge of the fabric. Then I tore off the strip.

Cut to the length you want. I cut mine into about 5 inch strips, which is big enough.
Then, I simply tie the straps tightly around the hoop. I used two lines to make the wreath appear fuller. I also used some cream burlap rolls to break up the red shade and I think it worked really well.

Finally, I tied a small decorative heart to the hoop hanging in the middle.

It now hangs beautifully on the wall in our dining room. I love the simplicity of this craft and it’s so quick to make. You can even get the kids involved, maybe make a colorful room for their bedroom.
Is this what you would try?
