Facebook group admins can take advantage of a new set of features to automate content moderation, as well as new tools to grow their communities.
Together, this collection of features is designed to help administrators reduce their workload, manage their groups more efficiently, and grow their groups with relevant audiences.

A new way to grow Facebook groups
Admins can use these new tools to grow their communities by directly reaching more desirable group members.
- QR code: An easier way to share a specific Facebook group with others. Once scanned, people will be directed to the group’s About page, where they can join or request to join.
- Invite by email: Admins now have the option to invite others to their Facebook group via email.
A new way to manage Facebook groups
With the following updates, group administrators can now automate more responsibilities and access data more efficiently:
- Admin Assisted Updates: Automatically approve or deny member requests based on certain criteria, such as whether they answered all member questions.
- Update to admin home page: Includes an overview page on desktop to quickly see what needs attention, and a summary of insights on mobile to help admins understand growth and engagement.

These new tools help Facebook group administrators moderate posts and manage users’ ability to participate in groups.
- Admin Assisted Updates: Automatically reject incoming posts identified as containing false information.
- New “Pause” feature: Temporarily restrict group members from posting, commenting, replying, chatting, or entering rooms in the group.
