Today’s guest, Alex Panticchose a different path than the business he co-founded. upshift Provides vetted temporary W-2 hourly labor for manufacturing fulfillment industries and hospitality locations.
Alex talks to Dan about how this two-sided marketplace works, the equity program Upshift offers, and why he thinks many entrepreneurs are missing out by not thinking about blue-collar, location-related opportunities:
“When you go online and enter e-commerce, you are competing with your peers. If you go into the real world, you’re competing with baby boomers. Are you telling me that baby boomers who don’t understand email will beat you at any kind of innovative business game? they are not. I prefer to go into areas where I see a lot of opportunity and not as much competition”.
