There is nothing worse than procrastination. When trying to achieve a purpose in life, there will always be some kind of hurdle to overcome; whether it’s a wedding, a new job, vacations, vacations, really crazy work schedules, and many other things we all struggle with.
Postponing a goal we really long for because we’re waiting for the “perfect” time is like leaving your windows open to allow time robbers to enter your home and take up a few hours of your life as they please.Perfect time must be created and purposefully created by determining the perfect time Now.
For many, the hardest part of the journey towards a healthier lifestyle is simply (or not so easy) making it a priority. Life is holding you back, you feel too skinny, and too much is happening at work, at home, and everywhere in between.
Here are some tips to help you put yourself at the top of your priority list so you can get one step closer to achieving your goals!
1. Make a priority to-do list
At the beginning of the week, or even as you start your day, take a few minutes to organize your thoughts and decide what really needs to be done and what is good to do each day. Putting the most important or difficult tasks first will keep them out of the way so you can spend more time with you. If you complete tasks lower on the list – great! If not, they can wait. Don’t forget to put yourself at the top of the list!
2. Request for help
How much time would you save if you didn’t have to do everything yourself? Whether it’s getting your partner, kids, or even roommates on your to-do list, even hiring someone to do chores you hate, or taking advantage of the grocery store’s online ordering service, you can ask for help with your tasks. – To do list. Then, when you get your items, they don’t look impossible!
3. be good to yourself
Only completed one task on your list? Take a deep breath after an overeaten breakfast – that’s okay! You are human, just like the rest of us, none of us are perfect. Show yourself some kindness and forgiveness by celebrating every victory, no matter how small it may seem.
4. say no”
When too many commitments pile up and you feel overwhelmed, saying “no” to another can be a huge relief. It really helps to plan a way to say no to kindness so you can feel confident and get no harm in the process!
5. help yourself help others
Are you really doing your best support or benefit to others when you’re running through the smoke? There’s a reason they tell you to wear a mask in the first place in a plane crash. You can’t help others without helping yourself first! Whether you’re caring for a loved one, volunteering, or doing someone a simple favor, if you don’t make some time for yourself, the time you give others will become less effective.
6. eat well
It’s also a really great way to put your health first and make it a conscious way to treat your body like it’s an amazing machine. Give it the good fuel it needs to get through the day without feeling guilty!
7. be positive
Like eating well, you might see this and think, “no kidding”. Whether you only have 5 minutes or more than an hour, getting moving can help relieve stress. You can even multitask and have activities on your to-do list, like working in the yard, cleaning the house, or playing with your family!
8. Drink water
Staying hydrated usually doesn’t take extra time at all, swap soda (or any other drink) for a glass of water! Then take a few seconds to think about your body absorbing it and hydrating it. Take a few deep breaths and remember to drink water!

9. sleep
It’s important to get the rest you need to conquer these items on your to-do list! If you find yourself having trouble falling asleep and thinking about all the things that have to be done, try making a list before bed to get all those thoughts out. Then you’re ready for the next day’s mission!
10. seek support
Sometimes it feels like we go through life alone, but you’re not alone! There are many others who have gone through — and are still going through — your struggles. It’s very helpful to use other people’s perspectives so you don’t have to figure it all out yourself.
11. practice self-care
Having a few self-care habits in your toolbox really goes a long way toward putting yourself first. Just take a little time each day to do something you love and make you happy, and it will pay off big in the long run, so you feel taken care of!
