Whenever I have a client asking about running YouTube ads, we hit the same hurdle about 99% of the time. Clients feel that they either (a) don’t have enough video creatives to use for the ad, (b) don’t have the budget for additional video ad budgets, or (c) they don’t have the tools to do it themselves.
Sounds about the same.

But there are plenty of affordable ways to get video ideas. They don’t have to be perfect to begin with.then after you Prove the value of your YouTube campaign, I hope you can go back and request more budget for new creatives. Here are a few ways you can get some videos for your next campaign.
Create presentation-style ads with screen recorders
There are plenty of affordable video editing tools out there to help you Profitable Video Ads. For us in Paid Media Professional YouTube Channelwe use a tool called Kamtasia. This software allows us to record our screen as well as make presentation style videos of ourselves. If you want to make any demo videos for skippable in-stream ads (formerly TrueView in-feed ads) on YouTube, then you might want to check out Camtasia. Here’s what I did in about 10 minutes using just my phone.
Am I saying this is a video where I would advertise? of course not. I just want to show you some features which include:
Editing tools like Camtasia can also help you edit any video you currently have. Maybe you want to cut, splice and reposition the main message in your video.Maybe you just want to test different video clips in the first five seconds (these YouTube Studio Report may help you identify these edits). Editing a video yourself is much cheaper than having someone else recreate a new video every time.
Camtasia only cost us a few hundred dollars the first time we downloaded it. Then there are the very affordable optional upgrades. If you want to run presentation-style ads on YouTube, tools like Camtasia can help you run your ads efficiently.

Try Video Templates for Commercial Style Ads
If you want to create a more commercial style video ad, there are a lot of great video templates out there. The provider my clients use the most is Promo. This is the basic information they have.

Video templates are sorted in various ways, such as platform (YouTube, Facebook, etc.), industry (e-commerce, real estate, etc.), etc. Promo also has the option to create 6-second bumper ads (in our YouTube Advertising Guidelines). Here is a preview of one of the marketing templates they have. I didn’t change anything in the template.
Any text element can be changed to say whatever you want in the space. You can choose different music to match The look and feel of your brand or promotion. You can even upload your own media to add to any template to further customize the video.

Use mobile tools to run social video ads
Besides desktop software and tools, there are other options if the only camera your business has is on your phone.I also feel, that’s just my opinion, these apps are better for creating Video content for social ads On Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and others.
Many applications offer the templates we saw in the previous section (since many of them do have desktop versions). The one below is from Ripl.

You can then add text, other images or media, change fonts, update music, and more. After making all the required changes, most apps have the option to upload the video directly to one of the ad platforms. Not every app is available on all platforms, which is good because then you can download the finished video.
