Autumn is such a magical year. The changing seasons mark a shift in ourselves and the outside world. We watched as the leaves started to change from the bright, vivid green to the reds, oranges, yellows and golds of fall foliage. Temperatures are starting to drop from the hot, humid summer to the warm, cool, crisp fall that calls for sweater weather. While summer can feel overwhelming, fall marks a slower, more introspective phase of the year. We begin to be at home comfortably—making soup, reading, watching movies with loved ones, and nourishing our bodies by tuning into this quieter part of ourselves. Fall is unique because it symbolizes the transition into winter, where we can still enjoy the outdoors without freezing our butts. Fall provides ample opportunities for outdoor activities, exploration and enjoyment of nature. There are plenty of fall activities to do with family and friends and make the most of this wonderful time of year.
If you need some ideas and inspiration, here’s the ultimate fall checklist to help you get the most out of fall foliage season. What’s on your fall wish list? Let us know in the comments!
