Happy Friday! I had a fun week at Marin’s as the nursery was closed. I was definitely stressed at first but decided to spend time with her and honestly it was really good. Having to ask brands to extend their deadlines is not a good thing, but I feel very lucky to even have the option to put my work on hold without childcare. I know a lot of parents who don’t. Having a child has changed my expectations. I had to take Marin for a shoot this week (we’re working on some content for the new cocktail bar in town, above, Au Comptoir). It wasn’t my plan (obviously), but we made it work, you know what, it’s fine. Is this how I finally got the hang of being a mother? lol, probably not. I don’t really know where I’m going, but I think I’m just starting to realize that when you have kids, it feels like nothing is going according to plan. I am learning how to accept.
