I love crafts, but I think Christmas crafts are my favorite. This Cinnamon Stick Christmas Tree Craft is super easy to make and looks so cute! They’re inexpensive to make, since you probably already have most of your supplies at home.
These ribbon Christmas tree ornaments are also great Christmas crafts to immerse the kids in, and not only do they look great hanging on the tree, but they smell great too!

what do you need–
- Ribbon or cut cloth strips
- jute or colored thread
- cinnamon stick
- A button/thing to decorate the top of the tree
- glue or sticky pad

You will need to cut 6 green ribbons about 8 inches long. I then tied each to the cinnamon stick with a simple square knot, holding the ribbon tightly in place.
Once you have the desired number of ribbons, cut them into tree shapes. It really is that simple.
You can use any ribbon or strip of old fabric or unwanted clothing. Mixing different colors and textures can look really good.
Cinnamon Stick Christmas Tree Crafts are a great way to develop your child’s fine motor skills. With a simple knot, kids can help their pliers grip, hand-eye coordination, grip strength, and more.

I rummaged through my stash and used some of my red and white string to make a coat hanger and glued it to the back with my hot glue gun.
I added a button to the top, which is also secured with hot glue, but you can use a sticky foam pad to make it safe for the kids. You can use the card stars as Christmas tree decorations or miniature pompoms, or whatever you like!
