LA METAMORPHOSIS Clairs-Obscurs Collection Exhibition.
As Vincent van Gogh once said: “The world is a gigantic eye looking back at the stars. . When it gets tired it closes its eyelids – as I do now – and lets A bit to dreams, that’s why night is so much more mysterious than day.”
The night and its beauty are the inspiration for today’s collection. Mystery hides among the stars, darkness is the beginning of the day, and the magic of the moon illuminates our lives and souls, giving us respite after a day full of responsibility and hope for a better tomorrow. The world needs hope, light and love.
As we saw in the firefly analogy, truly glowing insects of the dark mean that each of us can be a light in the dark. Our world is as beautiful by day as it is mysterious and magical by night. Our lives are full of light and dark sides, but together they make us who we really are…
The collection includes 20 models. The collection kicked off with a black and white cocktail suit, complemented by handmade organza flowers, a tuxedo and a black and white suit with a hand-stitched pearl motif. Gray crystal dress silhouette complemented by ostrich and swan feathers.
Another element is a handbag made of feathers, complemented by precious stones. We’ve moved from gray tones to shimmering navy with silk chiffon and floral appliqués. Mint green appears in the collection, complemented by ostrich sleeves and handcrafted 3D applied floral forms and champagne gold like a rising sun. The culmination of the collection was a final dress in silver lace with embroidery by La Metamorphose, made at Atelier Lesage.
3D butterflies in delicate organza and appliqués of beads and crystals in floral designs. Butterflies caressed their shoulders gently, as if they had received new life after a night full of magic and mystery. The final dress refers to the Lady of the Night, which brings hope and love and makes us look forward to the next day. This day will be the beginning of a beautiful new path. The dress is made of 40 meters of Mikado and 30 meters of lace with luminescent crystals. The collection also includes Solstiss lace, Goutarel tulle and silk chiffon.
