During my latest adventure, I was lucky enough to have an unforgettable lunch experience at Ramen Paradise located within the iconic Marina Bay Sands Singapore. Ippudo Singapore is a well-known restaurant known for its more than 65 outlets around the world. It’s no wonder it’s a favorite with business and leisure travelers alike, as it boasts an extensive Japanese menu offering delicious fare, from the famous Hakata-style ramen to exclusive meat selections. The 90-seat restaurant really stands out with its unique ambiance and unique chandeliers, creating the perfect setting for an indulgent ramen feast.
As if that wasn’t enough, you can even customize your ramen to your liking with an array of exciting toppings. When I walked into Ramen Ippudo, I was greeted warmly by the waiters who quickly escorted me to the central table. After a day of sightseeing and shopping in sweltering Singapore, I was desperate for something to quench my thirst. Ippudo’s Signature Sparkling Lemonade is the perfect remedy, with refreshing sweetness and citrus flavors. As for food, I highly recommend their Chili Miso, Roast Pork, Cloud Mushroom and Seaweed with Meat Soba, Shoyu Ramen and Tsukemen.
I had to browse through the Ippudo menu a few times before making a decision, but it was worth it! I chose Teppan Grilled Garlic Shrimp and Niku Soba unique to Singapore, and I was not disappointed. A true reflection of traditional Japanese wok cooking culture, sizzling shrimp are sautéed with garlic, then served with grilled asparagus and corn kernels, complemented by a tantalizing dipping sauce. The Niku Soba, a Hakata-style noodle dish topped with thinly sliced pork belly, definitely lived up to its name and made my meal more satisfying.
