Renowned Filipino chef Jessie Sincioco helps feed the hungry with the Hapag Movement menu.
Chef Jessie, a top chef who has cooked for global politics, has a Hapag Movement Menu with four menus that customers can enjoy while also helping to address involuntary hunger.
The special menu is part of Sincioco’s commitment to the Hapag Movement, a globally led community-based program to alleviate involuntary hunger through complementary feeding and sustainable livelihood opportunities.
Set menus include salad, soup, main course, dessert and hot drinks and are priced at P1,200 for lunch and P1,500 for dinner at Chef Jessie Rockwell Club, Sincioco’s much-loved restaurant in Makati. For every meal served, half of the proceeds will be donated to the Hapag-Lloyd Campaign.
“I salute the Globe for bringing a timely and much-needed movement to the entire country. We know very well that hunger is a reality here. We give back as much as we can. That’s how we came up with the Hapag Movement menu. That way, Our diners can support the advocacy,” said the chef.

Hapag Movement Menu offers healthy antipasto salads and a variety of Filipino dishes and mixed entrees, from the familiar yet premium Morcon beef and caldereta to Florentine fillet and grilled chicken parmesan.
Strengthening her commitment to the Hapag movement, Sincioco also said she will invite top chefs from the Philippines and abroad to participate in the movement and enlist the help of neighboring restaurants in Rockville for further publicity.
“When I learned about this credible and realistic movement, I didn’t hesitate or think twice about helping. Let’s all do our part to make this movement a huge success,” she said.
Chef Jessie has cooked and created dishes for world leaders, business moguls, celebrities and even the Pope. But what she finds most fulfilling is feeding the most marginalized in society.
Chef Jessie supports the Hapag movement through her company’s membership in the Rotary Club of Makati Business District (RCMBD), which recently signed a four-year partnership with Globe to raise funds for the Hapag movement. Her Mana Cuisine Corporation was one of the first corporate members of the Rotary Club to support the cause.
“We are thrilled to have Chef Jessie on board as we continue to fight hunger in the Philippines. We appreciate her dedication to finding ways to raise funds, including a special Hapag Movement menu. Driving the Hapag movement globally,” said Yoly Crisanto, Chief Sustainability and Corporate Communications Officer, Globe Group.
RCMBD had earlier pledged to raise P10 million for the Hapag movement through various initiatives involving individual members and companies. By making this commitment, the Rotary club has become one of the Hapag Movement’s most enthusiastic fundraising partners.
Globe leverages partnerships to raise funds and provide critical support to affected families. As an estimated 15 million Filipinos continue to suffer from involuntary hunger, the program aims to convene Filipinos to work together to feed the hungry and provide livelihood empowerment training.
