Happy Saturday. Apologies to everyone who subscribed to my newsletter and received an introduction to “Happy Friday” on Thursday afternoon.confirm i lost it, but at least I sent it? Lately I’ve been feeling very distracted, worse than usual. I won’t go into why but (to wave) I think the state everything may contribute.
Last night Craig, Marin and I met some friends by the lake after school for pizza, drinks and just hanging out. We were all in bathing suits (unplanned). When we stopped, the lake was still frozen. Not thick ice, but covered with a layer of slushy ice. We went in anyway. The cold, muddy icy water froze and children splashed to their ankles. Adults wade in, get submerged, and come out feeling more alive. This is the reset we all need.For a moment we forget all the rest thing. What an amazing way to end the week. Oh, and did I mention the bald eagles that fly past us? I love Vermont. I wish you a nice weekend.
