I’ve known about the frosé trend for a while, but I hadn’t tried it until recently. From then on, I was officially hooked.
I mean, who doesn’t love a refreshing, slushy cocktail with rosé, a little honey, strawberries and lemon. This is perfect for summer cocktails!

Frosé is “frozen rosé wine”. It’s a mashup of two words for the most delicious mixed summer cocktail ever!

This frosé recipe is made with super easy, sweet, and fresh ingredients!
- Rosé wine: I recommend a full-bodied, darker rosé wine. It has a stronger flavor and is less likely to be diluted once mixed.
- ice: Ice helps give frosé its classic slushy texture.
- For frozen strawberries: Strawberries add a natural sweetness that brings out the flavors of the wine. Plus, they basically make it a smoothie, right? 😉
- lemon: I recommend fresh lemon juice for the best flavor.
- Honey: Honey is my natural sweetener of choice, but feel free to use simple syrup instead.

- Merge and mix: In a blender, combine wine, ice cubes, frozen strawberries, lemon, and sweetener. Blend until smooth.
- Taste, Adjust and Serve: Taste and adjust as needed, then serve immediately.

Tips and Precautions
- Adjust to taste. Homemade cocktails are the best because you can make them just the way you like. Experiment with the amount of ingredients to find the perfect balance of flavors for you!
- Start with less sweetener, Taste and add more. I like mine less sweet, but others like theirs sweeter. You can always add more!
- If the frost is not thick enough, You can add more ice cubes or berries. Alternatively, pour the mixture into a baking dish, cover, and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
- Add other fruit. Try frozen watermelon, raspberries, peaches, or a combination!
- make it more drunk. Want to give your cocktail an extra shot? Try adding a shot or two of vodka or tequila.

For the best flavor and texture, enjoy this cocktail right after mixing!
If you do want to prepare ahead of time, you can mix the drink, pour it into ice cube trays, and freeze. When you’re ready to drink, just mix again, but keep in mind that the drink will lose some of its flavor when it sits in the refrigerator.
