Hands up, who remembers playing with the floor being lava as a kid? Our version uses sofa cushions scattered on the living room floor! Ha ha.
My kids play too but they are lucky to have floor is lava game That way my cushion doesn’t get crushed.

Oahu’s Lawn Is Lava
Lawn is Lava, a spin-off of the classic The Floor is Lava, is now playable outdoors.
There are a variety of new ways to play, let your lawn become the imaginary fiery lava!
Another interesting twist is that you can use water bombs to drench your opponents while playing.
How to play
Start by choosing a referee who will be in charge of the rotation.
The game started when the referee yelled “The lawn is lava!” All players need to stand on the nearest stepping stone they can find as fast as possible.
The referee then continues to spin and players must jump onto matching colored stepping stones. However, if the player is not touching the lawn, they can jump onto different colored stones to safety. The player who reaches the new piece last removes the original piece.
Then continue until a winner is produced.
Water Balloons!
If the referee spins and lands on a “burst,” each player has the option to grab the water balloon. Players must maintain their balance and keep on their feet while trying to catch the water balloon!
It can then be used at any point in the game to drench your opponent and hopefully fall into lava!
Lawn is Lava is a super fun game to play in a sunny garden. The whole family can join in and have fun while having a water fight.
