my thoughts
I really liked Emily’s Escape from the Algarve. I really followed the journey of the family as they tried to adjust to their new life in the Algarve. This does make me smile, Emily is more concerned with how much her shopping allowance will be cut than with the whole move upheaval! She’s a lovable character, as are her husband Mark and son Alex.
The story kept me hooked to see what happened next with the Ellis family as they ventured into the unknown. The ending has a lovely twist that wraps up the story perfectly.
Emily’s Escape to the Algarve is a lovely book to read while relaxing on holiday. I’ll be looking for more books by DCR Bond.
