Britney Spears said on Monday that his lawyers are “actively and quickly” taking action to remove her father from the disputed guardianship that controls her affairs.
The lawyer updated the situation to reporters after a very brief court hearing in Los Angeles. The hearing discussed the security costs of the singer’s professional administrator. He said she received threats from cases of global concern.
Matthew Rosengart said: “Unless Jamie Spears resigns first, my company and I are actively and quickly submitting a petition calling for his delisting.”

Jamie Spears’ lawyer told the court last week that he would not voluntarily step down and refuted her claim that all the bad things that happened to her were attributed to her father, calling it “the farthest thing from the truth.”
Monday’s hearing involved Jodi Montgomery’s request for a monthly security fee of $50 000 (R730 000), Jodi Montgomery’s current person in charge of Britney. Jamie Spears currently controls his daughter’s inheritance.
Another hearing on security costs will be held next Monday, and then more petitions will be heard in court in late September.
