The luxurious four-bedroom apartment in Victoria Building was once the home of Bob Marley and sold for £1.65 million.
The Jamaican reggae star lived at 34 Richmont Gardens in Bloomsbury in 1972.
A blue plaque was unveiled on the property in 2006 to celebrate it as the first home of “singer, lyricist and Rastafari icon” in London.
The apartment is now sold through Dexters and is located behind a red brick facade with high ceilings, wooden floors and ornate fireplaces.
There are four bedrooms with large windows overlooking the public garden.
Every house in the luxury block has the right to apply for access to Bedford Square Gardens, one of the private Georgian gardens in London.
Alison Battrick of Marylebone Dexter said: “This beautiful apartment is a good example of why Ridgmount Gardens has a reputation as one of Bloomsbury’s premier properties. The public gardens make for spaciousness. Living living spaces are more attractive and greenery.”
