Greg Knapp, assistant coach of the New York Jets, was injured in a bicycle crash last weekend on Thursday. He was 58 years old at the time.

Over the weekend, a car hit his bike and Knapp was injured in California. He was in a critical condition for the whole week, and then he was seriously injured.

Knapp is the passing coordinator for the Jets.

Knapp has worked with National Football League Served as a quarterback since 1997, including as the offensive coordinator for the San Francisco 49ers, Atlanta Falcons, Oakland Raiders, Seattle Seahawks and Houston Texans.

When the Broncos won the Super Bowl in 2015, he was Peyton Manning’s quarterback in Denver. Knapp served as the Broncos quarterback coach in the 2013-16 season.
