The King County Election (KCE) has mailed more than 1.4 million ballots to registered voters across King County for the 2021 primary election. KCE predicts that the voter turnout in this election will reach 40%.

This year’s primary election will have 214 candidates and seven voting measures.

Ballots must be postmarked before election day, August 3, or returned to one of the county’s 73 drop-in box locations. The drop box is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, until 8pm on election day.
The deadline for online registration to vote is July 26. Voters can register and vote at any KCE polling center location before 8pm on election day.
