Addison Rae expressed “sorry” to her “He’s All That” co-star Tanner Buchanan because they filmed a challenging scene together for Netflix rom-com.
In the interview Entertainment Weekly, 20-year-old Ray and 22-year-old Buchanan shared some details of their movie “He’s Just That” “She’s just like that” remake of the gender flip. One of the questions they answered was about the scene they thought was the most awkward or challenging to shoot. Both stars agreed that this was the scene where Buchanan had to “soak” while wearing a suit.
Rae apologized to Buchanan several times during the filming of that particular scene.
“I keep messing up, I feel bad,” the TikTok star said. “Remember when I apologized to you afterwards? I’m sorry! I thought,’I’m so sorry.'”
Buchanan recalled, “It was really cold in California that night.”
“We shot from 12 to 6 in the morning, and the temperature outside was 40 to 45 degrees Fahrenheit,” he added. “[I was] Soaked, even if you really can’t see it. I have to take a shower every 30 minutes and then go outside to continue filming this scene. That is the most challenging, not the most enjoyable. “
Before they laughed, Ray once again expressed her “sorry” for Buchanan.
Buchanan also asked Rae about her competitive dance experience and her favorite routines and songs. The social media star said that her favorite was one of her first competitive dance routines, set to “My boyfriend is back”, which she did when she was 8 years old.
The two co-stars also talked about those who gave them advice to change their lives. Buchanan did not disclose the person’s name, but hinted that it was an actor, and said he planned to send them an email because he did just that. At the same time, Ray said she was Sean Bankhead because she liked his choreography.
When discussing their next project, Ray said that she hopes to make a “Coyote Ugly Funny Movie” or a movie similar to the classic horror comedy “Jennifer’s Body” in the future.
As for the celebrities she likes to work with, Alexa Demie, the star named “Happiness” on Douyin, explained: “I did Pilates with her not long ago. She is very cool.”
“It’s okay, you don’t want to work with me anymore,” Buchanan joked, and Ray replied, “Well, Tanner is [going to] Appears in’Coyote Ugly’. “
At the same time, despite Rey’s performance in the film being strongly opposed, Buchanan can only praise his partner, who made his first appearance in “He Is That”.
“She put into work. She auditioned for it,” Buchanan says In an interview with Marc Malkin’s “Just for Variety” podcast. “She had to send them her selfies and everything. Everyone must treat her well and she did a great job.”
