lobster tail is my all-time favorite seafood and I’ve tested it in various ways- grilled lobster, grilled lobster,as you like. But cooking lobster tails in the air fryer is a recent development — and I have to admit, I’m hesitant to make it worthwhile compared to my other tried and true methods. I’m so glad I went!this Air Fryer Lobster Tails The recipe turned out to be as good as the others, if not better.I should have known: Other exotic foods like Air Fryer Filet Mignon, Air Fryer Lamb Chopsand Air Fryer Salmon It turned out great, so why not lobster?

  • lobster tail – Coldwater lobsters are more desirable than warmwater lobsters because their white meat is firmer and more pure in flavor. If you’re not sure, ask your butcher!
  • salted butter – Adds flavor, locks in moisture and aids in browning. You can also use unsalted butter and add (less) salt alone if you want to control your salt intake.
  • garlic – Use fresh garlic in this recipe since you will be crushing it with a garlic press. Minced garlic will burn more easily. If you don’t have garlic on hand, you can substitute 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder.
  • lemon juice – Use fresh lemon juice for best results. You can also add lemon zest if you want extra lemon zest.
  • smoked paprika -Sweet paprika can also be substituted, although it won’t have the same strong flavor.
  • chili – A little bit. Add more for extra heat.

How to Cook Lobster Tails in the Air Fryer

Lobster tails air fryer time depends on their size.A good rule of thumb is about 1 minute per ounce of tail. For example, for 5 oz tails (doesn’t matter how much), fry them for 5-6 minutes. For 10 oz tails, air fry for 10 minutes.

Can You Cook Frozen Lobster Tails in the Air Fryer?

No, it is not recommended to cook frozen lobster tails in the air fryer. The meat will cook unevenly, so some parts will be tough and overcooked. Simply thaw the lobster in cold water before cooking.
