President Biden will visit Louisiana to witness the destruction of Hurricane Ida and meet with Governor John Bell Edwards. This is because the storm’s damage in the northeast continues to be affected, and the death toll is still rising.

A Category 4 hurricane hit New Orleans last weekend with wind speeds as high as 150 miles per hour, causing billions of dollars in damage. Nearly 1 million residents are expected to lose power in a few weeks. According to reports, nine people died in Louisiana.
