Entries for the 2021 Barlett & Steele Investigative Business Journalism Award are now accepted until August 13.
The awards competition is administered by the Donald W. Reynolds National Business News Center of the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Arizona State University, and annually recognizes the country’s best investigative business reporting. The competition is named after the famous investigative reporting team Don Barlett and Jim Steele, who have won numerous awards including two Pulitzer Prizes.
Winners of the Gold, Silver and Bronze Awards received cash prizes of US$2,500, US$1,500 and US$500, respectively.
The deadline for participating in this year’s competition is now August. 13th 2021, exist 11:59 p.m. EDT.
Entries for this year’s competition must be published between July 1, 2020 and June 30, 2021. Media editors or competition coordinators can submit up to two entries.
