Bone Broth Pizza – Dr. Kellyann


This takes pizza to a whole new level! We're giving a classic favorite a new twist, and it's…Bone soup! That’s right, it’s bone broth pizza sauce with a cauliflower crust! A double dose of goodness. My team at DKA is always innovating. I was surprised when they showed me a way to add 2 cups of bone broth to the pizza to increase protein and collagen. delicious! Not to mention..32 grams of collagen.


Bone Broth Pizza

Sauce ingredients:

2 cups Dr. Kellyann's Beef Bone Broth (can use chicken)

2 (6 oz) cans tomato paste

2 tbsp.avocado oil

1 teaspoon oregano

1 teaspoon dried basil

2-3 garlic cloves

salt and pepper to taste


Sauce instructions:

  1. Place all ingredients in a medium saucepan and cook over medium-high heat for 4-6 minutes.
  2. Turn down the volume and let the sauce cook for another 5 minutes
  3. Add sauce to pizza crust and bake at 400 degrees for 10-15 minutes


Cauliflower crust material:

1 pound cauliflower florets

1 egg

⅓ cup Parmesan or Manchego cheese

1 teaspoon oregano

1 teaspoon basil

salt and pepper to taste


Cauliflower Crust Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees
  2. Place the cauliflower in a food processor and pulse until it becomes cauliflower rice.Spread the cauliflower on a baking sheet and bake for 15 minutes
  3. Remove excess water from the cauliflower (you can do this by wrapping it in a dish towel and squeezing out the excess water)
  4. Mix all ingredients in a large bowl
  5. Press dough onto baking sheet, dough should be 1/4 inch thick, maybe a little thicker
  6. Bake at 35 degrees until golden brown


Chicken skin material:

  • 3/4 pound shredded chicken (cooked)
  • ½ cup Parmesan or Manchego cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 2 eggs
  • salt and pepper to taste

Chicken Skin Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees
  2. Stir ingredients together until well combined and spread on baking sheet until “dough” is about 1/4 inch thick
  3. Bake for 20 minutes until golden brown
