There is no doubt that Tom Brady will become one of the best quarterbacks in NFL history.
However, if the results of the San Francisco 49ers’ defeat of journalist Matt Maoko can be trusted, the seven-time Super Bowl champion wants to make sure that there will be no debate about it.
Maiocco appeared in Sports For All PH podcast On July 2 last year, he expressed his opinions on several NFL-related topics. The show was hosted by Filipino journalists Vincent Juico and Brian Yalung.
One of the questions asked to the 54-year-old American journalist was his opinion on how long Brady will play professional football.
As far as he is concerned, the five-time Super Bowl MVP will play as long as he can.
“I think Tom Brady is one of those who play as long as he wants. He was designed for this. He was born to become an NFL quarterback. He has taken all the steps he could take. Come and do your best,” Maiocco replied when Aaron asked.
However, Mayoko admitted that the last NFL season was not one of Brady’s best performances.
He admitted that the 43-year-old player did have a good year with touchdowns and 12 interceptions, even though the Buccaneers lost a lot of games-which exceeded expectations.
“If he only gets fired 21 times a year like last year… Yes, he can play longer. I believe he will be happy to continue to win the Super Bowl. Continue to provide a lot of touchdowns and low interceptions,” Maiocco explain.

Brady was recently awarded the titles of “Best Athlete, Men’s Sports” and “NFL Player of the Year”. ESPY Awards 2021, To add more honor to his resume.
But Maiocco thinks there is something else in Brady’s mind-that is the debate about who is the greatest NFL quarterback of all time.
“He wants to make himself the best quarterback ever. I don’t think he wants to debate who is the best in 20 years. He wants everyone to agree that he is the best,” Maiocco said.
