British “Financial Times” launches cultural podcast, appoints the host of Rapidpoulos

“Financial Times” has roll out Its new weekly cultural podcast FTWeekend will be broadcast on September 4. This podcast highlights FT’s award-winning life and art content.

The podcast also explored today’s culture, great ideas, subtle issues, and the meaning of living a good life. It also had inspiring conversations with leaders in the arts, culture, and society, including in-depth storytelling.

The podcast will be hosted by Lila Raptopoulos, The U.S. audience leader of the British “Financial Times” and the host of cultural telephony podcasts. Prior to this, she served as a community editor and community manager. She is also a freelancer for Public Radio International, Quartz, BuzzFeed News and Fusion.

Prior to this, she also worked for The Guardian in London and GateHouse Media.

Raptopoulos holds degrees from Connecticut College and New York University.
