Pop superstars Camila Cabello and Shawn Mendes confirmed that they broke up on Wednesday after dating for the past two years.
Cabello and Mendes both posted the same news on their respective websites Instagram The story that confirms that they have given up. However, the couple also stated that their “love for each other as human beings is stronger than ever before.”
“We started our relationship with our best friend and will continue to be our best friend,” the Instagram message continued. “We thank you very much for supporting and moving forward from the beginning.”

The 24-year-old Cabello was born in Havana, Cuba. She was first known as a member of the women’s group Fifth Harmony, which helped her rise to fame and eventually started her personal career.
