Olympic gold medalist Katie Ledkey hopes to continue to make history Olympic Games In 2024.
The 24-year-old who just won the gold in the 800-meter freestyle at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics hopes to return to the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris.
“That’s not the last time I swim,” Ledkey says“I’m going to at least 24 years, maybe 28 years. We will see. You will never take anything for granted. You don’t know if you will return to the next Olympics, so you just try to soak in both Go in.”
In her Olympic career, she won a total of 10 medals (7 gold medals, 3 silver medals). Ledki participated in the London Olympics for the first time in 2012, when he was 15 years old. In that year, she won the 800-meter freestyle championship and has since become one of the most decorated swimmers in American history.
This year she won two gold medals (800m freestyle and 1500m freestyle) and two silver medals (400m freestyle and 4x200m freestyle).

By the arrival of the 2024 Paris Olympics, Ledeckey will be 27 years old. The average age of Olympic swimming is 21 years old, which is the lowest of all Olympic events.
Dara Torres is one of the most decorated Olympic swimmers ever.
