On October 8, the public is welcome to explore world-class research facilities Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory.
Once a year, scientists at the Columbia Climate Institute’s main campus for climate and earth sciences share their work and findings through talks, tours, and hands-on experiments that are fun and engaging for the whole family.Although the activity has to Virtualization At the height of the pandemic, the campus doors are open again this year for in-person open the door.
Attendees will learn about current developments in geoscience and how our growing understanding of our planet can help protect its future. Different exhibits target different ages and educational levels, from elementary school-aged children to college students to students well-versed in earth sciences.
