Parth Desai, Head of Flare Capital Partners Backing Flare Capital’s investments in Aetion, BeMe Health, Beaming Health, Birch AI, HealthVerity and Suki AI. He previously backed Bright Health (IPO) and Healthreveal (acquired by Accolade). He is also on the advisory board of the Boston University School of Public Health. Before joining Flare Capital, he was an investor in NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital (NYP) Ventures, focused on applying artificial intelligence to healthcare operations, leading investments in Saykara (acquired by Nuance), Syllable AI and Workfusion.
Jane Rho, Investor, Venture Fund, DaVita Venture Group Leads venture capital investments in healthcare technology, diagnostics and technology support services companies. Before joining DaVita Venture Group, she worked with and advised several early stage healthtech startups. Before that, she was a management consultant in Bain & Company’s New York office.
Branden Fini, principal at Providence Ventures
Providence Ventures is a Seattle and Menlo Park-based digital health-focused venture capital firm that invests in companies that attack major pain points in the healthcare ecosystem. The company leverages its deep network of enterprise health systems to jumpstart the adoption of the platform serving service providers, payers and self-insured employers alike. Since joining PV, Branden has invested in OrthAlign, MacroHealth, Arrive Health (fka RxRevu) and Kno2. He currently serves on the boards of MacroHealth, Arrive, Omada and Kno2 as an observer.
Ryan Collins, Principal, Noro-Moseley Partners Over eight years of experience in healthcare information technology, healthcare services, investment banking and private investing. Noro-Moseley Partners is an Atlanta-based early-stage growth equity firm. Ryan works with their healthcare portfolio companies such as Upward Health, Medix Infusion, Findhelp and Cariloop.
Rachel Kern, Vice President, FirstTrust Capital Over 10 years of experience in healthcare information technology, healthcare services, investment banking and private investing. Since November 2016, she has been with FTCP, headquartered in Wheaton, Illinois. She has led investments in a broad range of healthcare technology and services companies, including Predict Health, Vynca, Third Eye Health and Script Health.
Dennis Depenbusch – Director, Kansas Blue Cross Blue Shield Responsible for developing and leading the direction, coordination, evaluation and management of strategic investments. The program is focused on developing a portfolio to improve the Kansas (and national) healthcare market, strengthen the company’s core business and generate revenue. Prior to joining BCBS Kansas, he was CEO and President of Ulterius Technologies in Wichita. Previously, he held leadership and board positions at various technology and health-related start-ups in the US and Europe.
