In the investigation report of the New York State Attorney General’s Office, one of the 11 accusers of New York Governor Andrew Cuomo was once referred to as the “first executive assistant.” On Sunday, the plaintiff revealed her identity to talk about the sexual harassment she faced while working for Cuomo.
Brittany Commisso (Brittany Commisso) will appear in the forthcoming “CBS This Morning” and Albany Times League joint interview to tell about her encounter with Commiss. The interview footage has appeared on CBS News.
The accusers involved in sexual allegations usually do not
Comiso claims She was sexually harassed in 2019 and 2020, when Cuomo began to “hug her cheeks” and eventually turned to kiss her lips.
She also accused Cuomo “reached her hand under her shirt and grabbed her breast.” On another occasion, she claimed that he “put his hand on him, then rubbed and grabbed her butt.”
“What he did to me was a crime,” Comiso told CBS anchor Jerica Duncan. “He broke the law.”
Comiso revealed that because of Cuomo’s prominent position, she was initially afraid to report Cuomo’s behavior.
“I didn’t say anything during this time. People don’t understand that this is the governor of New York State,” Comiso explained.
“There are soldiers outside the mansion, as well as mansion staff. The soldiers there—they are not here to protect me. They are here to protect him.”
Comiso revealed that she thought no one would believe her story.
“I feel that if I do anything to insult him, especially in his own home, he will not be fired or get into trouble. It will be me,” she said.
“And I feel as if I said something I know, who would believe me?”
Comiso decided that “the governor needs to take responsibility,” and she said that was why she presented her story.
She has become Cuomo’s first accuser of criminal proceedings against him. On Thursday, she filed a complaint with the Albany County Sheriff’s Office.
Como Denied the allegations against him and stated that he “never contacted anyone inappropriately or made inappropriate sexual provocations.”
Comiso’s interview will be aired on “CBS This Morning” on Monday.
