Two months after the president Joe BidenIn a speech celebrating independence from COVID-19, his government took a major turn in the task of vaccines in response to rising infection rates and hospitalization rates.

Biden issued an authorization on Thursday that requires all federal employees to be vaccinated within the next few months or they may lose their jobs. His government will also require federal contractors to ensure that their employees are vaccinated. According to the Associated Press, this mission affected approximately 100 million Americans.

This move is a reversal of the government’s previous position. Biden’s press secretary, Jean Psaki, Was asked in July whether the federal government should step in and issue a vaccine directive. Psaki stated that such authorization “is not the responsibility of the federal government.”

“Well, I think the problem here is – first, this is not the role of the federal government; that is the role that institutions, private sector entities, and others might play,” she said. “This is of course appropriate. In addition, the local community will take the measures they need to take to protect the people in the community.”

On July 4, Biden delivered a speech on “Celebrating Independence Day and Independence from COVID-19.” Passaki argued on Thursday that the statement was “too early” and pointed out that unvaccinated Americans were the cause of the current situation.

Dr. Rochelle Varensky, director of the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, stated in late July that Americans will not be required to be vaccinated against COVID-19 nationwide. She did not mention that the government might issue authorizations to federal employees and federal contractors across the country.

Although his government has promised not to issue federal authorization for the COVID-19 vaccine, Democratic President Joe Biden requires all federal employees and workers contracted with the federal government to be vaccinated.
