Donald Trump says “most people” are satisfied with Kyle Rittenhouse’s verdict

Former president Donald Trump Has said that “most people” are satisfied with the verdict in the trial Kyle Rittenhouse On Friday the jury ruled that he was not guilty of all charges.

Trump has worked with Fox NewsLaura Ingraham On Friday night, he criticized the case against the 18-year-old Rittenhouse, saying he believed it was “prosecutor’s misconduct.”

Rittenhouse faces multiple charges. These allegations include reckless first-degree homicide, first-degree intentional homicide, and first-degree intentional homicide. He was acquitted in all aspects.

“I think this is a great decision,” Trump told Ingraham.

“I’m surprised it must go so far. Someone should end it sooner. Frankly speaking, this case shouldn’t be brought up.

“In my opinion, this is the wrongdoing of the prosecution. There are a lot of such things happening in this country now. This is shameful,” he said.

Trump continued: “If you are talking about innocence based on self-defense, this is the poster boy.

“I think if he waited a quarter of a second he would die When the gun is pointed at his head,” Trump said, referring to Gaige Grosskreutz, who pointed a gun at Rittenhouse and survived after being shot by the teenager.

“That person would pull the trigger. Literally, he would die in less than a second as you said,” the former president said. “There will be no trial, because they won’t judge the person who pulled the trigger.”

“I am happy to see it. Many people are happy to see it-most people,” Trump added.

Trump continued to criticize the prosecution, saying he was surprised by the case against Rittenhouse.

“Prosecutors, everything they did to win, They are just looking for victory, not justice. This may be a political case to a large extent. I have seen more political cases, but this is also a political case,” Trump said.

“They did a very bad job, and I think they left another serious bad impression on the prosecutor,” he said, again arguing that Rittenhouse should not be prosecuted.

The former president said: “According to every piece of evidence you see, this is a young man who should not be prosecuted.”

Trump called Rittenhouse’s position “brave” and said he was “proud” of the jury. He said the jury was “under the pressure of doing something wrong.”

The former president also praised the trial judge Bruce Schroeder. Behavior and comments make him a target of criticism And controversy.

“I like the way the judges started — but they started to understand him from the perspective of their attempts to intimidate judges inside and outside the court. He persevered. He had a hard time for a while,” Trump said.

“I think the judge could have ended the case sooner,” he added.

At the end of the interview, Trump said: “If that young man is convicted in any way, many people in this country will be very angry.”
