DSTL looks at the mutual communication between missiles
The communication between missiles and their host aircraft is the subject of an ongoing study at the British Government’s Defense Science and Technology Laboratory (Dstl).
The Cooperative Strike Weapon Technology Demonstrator (CSWTD) will study how to make missiles communicate with each other, making them more sensitive to rapidly evolving tactical scenarios.
“Currently, missiles can communicate with launch platforms, but they cannot communicate with each other.
